Just like photography changes under the influence of music, the logo changes as well.
tension is a multidisciplinary project at the junction between analogue photography and experimental music. Using and playing with a specially developed assembly line camera, we address the relationship between man and machine and explore new ways of joint expression. Musicians, composers, visual artists, designers and theatre-makers collaborate on interpersonal interactions in dependence on a machine and the attempt to make movement and sound visible. Contemporary music played live is graphically recorded during the performance and developed in real time.
